We are delighted to welcome Ingrid Surgenor, the principal Operatic and Vocal Repertoire Coach at the Royal Academy of Music, London, to give an open masterclass with four singers.

Ingrid is also a senior coach at Glyndebourne Festival Opera, the National Opera Studio, London, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. She has also been a jury member for several major competitions,  including the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition, Beijing International Music Competition and the Kathleen Ferrier Memorial Scholarship at the Royal Academy. In June 2000 she received an MBE from the Queen for services to music.

The masterclass will take place on Wednesday 31st May from 2:30pm to 5:30pm – admission is free to the general public; please email to reserve your place.
