‘The Anatomy of Singing’ at the NI Science Festival

Come and join us on 16th February from 2 -3 p.m. at the Northern Ireland Science Festival where you can learn all about the anatomy of singing from Trevor Agus, Lecturer at the Sonic Arts Research Centre at Queen’s University.  With the scientific accuracy of a demon barber, he will dissect the voice, using the songs from Stephen Sondheim’s ‘Sweeney Todd’ as examples, performed by Jessica Hackett, NI Opera Studio member.  Further details and ticket links: https://www.niopera.com/events/the-anatomy-of-singing/

Jessica is performing the role of Johanna Barker in NI Opera’s co-production of ‘Sweeney Todd’ at the Lyric Theatre, Belfast during February 2019: https://www.niopera.com/events/sweeney-todd/
