This August we will celebrate the 10th Glenarm Festival of Voice.

Join us for three concerts in partnership with BBC Radio 3, a production by the NI Opera Studio, our much-loved Singing Explorers in concert and the culmination of the whole weekend, the Competition Finale.  At this event, five young opera singers from across the island of Ireland will compete for the Deborah Voigt Opera Prize, and the Audience Prize which is voted for by ticket holders on the night.

The Festival will take place between 28th August and 30th August in venues in and around Glenarm, so please make a diary note of the dates and more information will be released in the next month or so, including new events to celebrate our 10th Festival.

For singers who are interested in applying to take part in the competition, please click here for full details.  The competition is open to singers aged 18-28, born on the island of Ireland and applicants are expected to be studying voice at third level or privately, and pursuing a career in opera.  The application deadline is 6 p.m. on 22 May 2020.

We also offer the Peter Rankin Piano Internship as part of the festival: an excellent opportunity for a pianist between the age of 18-28 and born on the island of Ireland. Follow the link here for more details.
